Chef Peter J. Hemsley had collaborated with Bay Area artisans to make each of his dish according to its colorful menu that takes inspiration from the seasonal bounty of our local region, as well as his deep personal history.
Part of the dinner series, a new form of elevated, experiential dining offered within the Gallery at Palette, Ocean Floor is made specially to tell the story of the food. Think about chilled mussels or smoked oysters...It is made in very traditional technique, hand blown by glassmaker Sam Schumacher. This plate offers a rich organic accent around the table and a milky look. Made of glass, completely hand blown, no forms or molds are used. Truly one of a kind!
