Palette playfully explores the relationship between food, art and community.
Chef Peter J. Hemsley had collaborated with Bay Area artisans to make each of his dish according to its colorful menu that takes inspiration from the seasonal bounty of our local region, as well as his deep personal history.
Part of the dinner series, a new form of elevated, experiential dining offered within the Gallery at Palette, Lamb Wool is made specially to tell the story of the food. Think about Maroccan lamb stew or fluffy potatoes ...It is made in house in a very traditional technique by our lead ceramist Andrew Kontrabecki. This plate offers a cooking versatility around the kitchen, going in the oven or on the stove! Made of clay, completely handmade, no forms or molds are used. Truly one of a kind!
