Chef Peter J. Hemsley had collaborated with Bay Area artisans to make each of his dish according to its colorful menu that takes inspiration from the seasonal bounty of our local region, as well as his deep personal history.
Part of the dinner series, a new form of elevated, experiential dining offered within the Gallery at Palette, Air France is made specially to tell the story of the food. Think about grape "tarte" and crème...It is made in a very traditional technique, hand blown by glassmaker Sam Schumacher. This plate offers a rich grape like organic round shape around the table. Made of glass, completely hand blown, no forms or molds are used. Truly one of a kind with some of them having variations of sodium carbonate patterns around their edges.
