Palette playfully explores the relationship between food, art and community.
Chef Peter J. Hemsley had collaborated with Bay Area artisans to make each of his dish according to its colorful menu that takes inspiration from the seasonal bounty of our local region, as well as his deep personal history.
Part of the dinner series, a new form of elevated, experiential dining offered within the Gallery at Palette, Flowers of Monterey County is a share plate made specially to tell the story of the food. Think about zucchini tarragon and edible wildflowers..It is handmade in our ceramic studio by ceramist Andrew Kontrabecki. This plate offers a "concrete" minimalist look on one side as it has been shaped by well, the gravels of a concrete actual floor and a colorful splash of colors on the other side. Multi-facette? Very. An essential Palette lover plate!
